Old National Bank launches ‘Tools for Schools’ campaign.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Old National Bank has launched a community-wide collection drive of school supplies for disadvantaged youth in grades K-12, called ‘Tools for Schools.’

The Tools for Schools campaign will help ensure that no child will go without the basic needs during the upcoming school year.

The campaign runs through August 10.

Donations can be made in any of Old National’s banking centers during normal business hours.

Old National has also implemented a ‘wish list’ through Amazon.com, where the community can purchase donations and ship directly to an Old National collection site.

Suggested donation items include:

  • Backpacks (all ages)
  • Calculators (regular, solar-powered, scientific)
  • Combination locks
  • Binders and folders
  • Protractors, rulers, compasses
  • Glue and scissors
  • Three-subject and five-subject notebooks, loose-leaf paper

Old National volunteers will collect all donated items and work with area programs for distribution.
