One arrested after man held at gunpoint, vehicle stolen

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – An Owensboro man faces charges after police said he robbed a man at gunpoint and stole his vehicle.

Owensboro Police say just before 6:30 Friday night, they responded to a robbery at Wesleyan Park Plaza.

According to a report, the victim said the suspect took his wallet and vehicle at gunpoint and drove away with another person.

About an hour later, police found the vehicle and used a K9 to find the two people.

Police arrested 40-year-old Daniel York for robbery, possession of a handgun by a felon, and fleeing police.

We’re told the second person in the car was not believed to be involved in the robbery.
