OWENSBORO,Ky. (WEHT)- Owensboro Public Schools Board members continue their search for a new superintendent.

Board members met Friday afternoon to talk about the search and interview process for who will replace Nick Brake. He left his post at the end of last year.

Board Chair, Jeremy Edge said they want someone who will continue the progress the districts made during Brake’s time in office and who will also bring fresh ideas.

Edge said they want to narrow the field to at least three candidates by May and plan to announce a new superintendent by the start of June.
