Otter trapping season wraps up early

Indiana (WEHT) The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says river otter trapping season is now closed after the state reached its quota Monday.

The season was scheduled to run from Nov. 15 – March 15, or until the quota of 600 river otter was reached.

River otter trapping season is designed to to limit total harvest.
