OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – On Tuesday, the City of Owensboro announced the lineup for its 2019 Owensboro Air Show which will take place September 13-15.
A B-25 Mitchell Bomber will be returning to the show for the first time in a few years. The aircraft was made famous as the one flown by the Doolittle Raiders in World War II.
The Army Aviation Heritage Sky Soldiers will be bringing their AH-1 Cobra and UH-1 Huey helicopters back to the show this year as well.
The show will also include military jets such as a Northrop F-5, F-86 Sabre and a MiG 17.
Team Aeroshell will be bringing its famed T-6 Texan.
The Philips 66 Aerostars will be bringing a four-ship demonstration, along with Red Bull air racer Kevin Coleman and aerobatic showman Billy Werth and his Pitts biplane.
The show will take place at the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport on Friday, September 13.
On Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, it will take place in downtown Owensboro.
