Owensboro Health Regional Hospital employees test positive for coronavirus

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) — Owensboro Health announced Wednesday eight employees at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital (OHRH) have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Chief Medical Officer Francis DuFrayne says all of them are isolated at home and receiving care.

DuFrayne says positive tests results are not a surprise given the growing number of cases, and all employees are screened for fever or other symptoms of respiratory disease before beginning their shifts in addition to other safety measures.
