Local News

(WEHT)- The 3rd annual Owensboro Lip Sync Battle raised over 123,000 dollars Saturday, up from $74,000 last year. The event also set a new record with over 2,000 tickets sold.

12 teams, including representatives from the Owensboro Police Department and the Owensboro Fire Department, competed in the event. Our very own Eyewitness News Daybreak team helped kick off the event.

The money raised from the event goes towards Puzzle Pieces, a local organization that provides programs and opportunities to those with disabilities.
