Owensboro man pleads guilty in connection to deadly armed robbery

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – An Owensboro man pleads guilty in connection to the death of Kevonjua Allen.

In return for his plea, Cameron Jackson will receive a 20-year sentence.

Police say in December of 2017 Jackson shot and killed Allen during a robbery near the intersection of 7th and sycamore in Owensboro.

Jackson was 17 years old at the time of the incident.

And a grand jury indicted him in December 2018.
