OWENSBORO, Ky (WEHT) Owensboro Public Schools officials say an employee who tested positive for COVID-19, did not show symptoms while on the job.

However, the employee was helping out with feed sites, specifically the sites located at Chesterfield/River Rd, Kendall Perkins Park, Moreland Park, Cravens Pool, and Lincolnshire Apartments.

The health department says the risk to the public is extremely low.

All employees who came in contact with employee who tested positive are now self-isolating.

OPS will be altering their schedule to only provide meals on Monday, Wednesday and Friday beginning on March 30. Those meals will have extra food.
