Owensboro YMCA offering child care to medical workers, first responders

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – Health workers, first responders, and grocery workers now have an option for child care in Owensboro.

The Owensboro YMCA has announced it is open for child care, specifically for children ages 3-12.

The facility opened for the service on Monday. The child care is only for employees of hospitals or medical facilities/offices, other health care workers, firefighters, police officers, grocery workers, and emergency first responders who help support the Commonwealth’s efforts to combat the COVID-19 public health crisis.
