Parks board reviews bids for Aquatic Center

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Evansville Parks Department is still not ready to move forward on one of its largest developments.

In September, the bids for the $27 million Deaconess Aquatic Center project came over budget.

Wednesday, Parks & Recreation Executive Director Brian Holtz said the original bids are being renewed and the goal is to award some contracts for the project at Garvin Park in December.

This is the second time the bids came over budget.
