Update: Green River Rd. reopens following gas leak

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A major Vanderburgh County road has reopened after closing for a couple hours due to a gas leak.

Crews shut down green river road between kansas and boonville-new harmony before 2:30.

We’re told the gas leak happened due to te road construction.

No one was hurt and no homes had to be evacuated.

The road reopened to traffic just after four.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – A major road in Vanderburgh County has been shut down due to a gas leak.

Green River Rd. between Boonville-New Harmony Rd. and Kansas Rd. is shut down due to that gas leak.
