SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A precautionary boil advisory is in effect for parts of Grandview.

The boil advisory is in place because of low water pressure due to construction on the water main.

The areas impacted by the boil advisory include Tulip Lane, Rose Lane, and areas north of 8th Street, including 9th, 10th and 12th, and North Main Street from 8th to County Road 400.

Before drinking or using water, you should boil the water for at least five minutes. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation.

The boil advisory is in effect until further notice.
