Passenger arrested after driver pulled over for following too closely

VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WEHT) After pulling over a driver for following too closely, a trooper arrests the passenger on drug charges.

Indiana State Police say a trooper pulled over the vehicle after it exited I-64 onto US-41 around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

The trooper searched the car and discovered 18 grams of marijuana and small amounts of meth and cocaine. A loaded handgun was also discovered.

Since the drugs were found under Lee Aders’ seat, he was arrested on several drug charges including possession of meth and possession of cocaine.

The driver was also cited and released.
