HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Ohio County Sheriff said a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and was killed on Sunday night.
It happened on US 231 North near the Maple Leaf Lake Lane intersection just before 6:00.
The sheriff said the victim died on the scene.
The road was closed for about an hour and a half while officials investigated.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
