ROME, Ind. (WEHT) — Indiana State Police continue to investigate after a woman’s body was pulled from the Ohio River Monday.
The woman, who may be in her mid 40s, was found near a boat ramp in the town of Rome.
Perry County Coroner Warren Taylor says an autopsy was done Tuesday and he was not able to make an identification, but it is a woman.
Toxicology tests are being done, and Taylor says the cause of death is likely drowning.
