HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – The city of Owensboro announced a closure for Placid Place from West Byers Avenue to Suffolk drive beginning on Tuesday.
Officials say the closure is necessary for sewer repairs, and is expected to last for 2-3 days, pending delays or inclement weather. A detour will be appropriately marked for the closure, and drivers are urged to drive with caution in the area.
