MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A Muhlenberg County man is accused of answering the door with a meth pipe in his hand.

46-year-old David Hobgood is charged with trafficking meth over two grams, trafficking unspecified drug, tampering with physical evidence, and drug possession.

Detectives with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force went to a home on Duncan Lane.

When they arrived, they say Hobgood came outside with a meth pipe in hand, took off back inside the house and was followed back inside.

Once officers detained Hobgood, they found eight grams of meth and several pills inside a backpack.

Another person was also arrested. Tanikia Adler, 37, of Central City, is charged with trafficking meth from a previous undercover buy.
