Police chase starting in Warrick County ends in crash in Gibson County

BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – One person is in jail following an overnight chase that went through three counties.

The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office said deputies tried to pull over Kevin Roach around 5:30 after he crossed the center line and failed to use a turn signal near Rudolph Rd. and Highway 61 south of Boonville.

Instead of stopping, deputies said Roach led them on a chase through Warrick and Vanderburgh Counties before crashing in Gibson County.

Roach was not seriously injured.

He did stop during the chase to let a passenger out of his car.

Deputies said he ran from them because he thought he had warrants out for his arrest, but there were no warrants.
