Poll workers across western Kentucky are getting ready for Tuesday’s Kentucky primaries.

Workers in Daviess County moved voting machines and other equipment to the Owensboro Sportscenter and other polling places on Monday morning.

Officials with the Kentucky Secretary of State’s Office predict statewide turnout to be at 30%.

However, Daviess County Clerk David Osborne said the lack of a primary for Owensboro City Commissioner could affect local turnout.

Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
