EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Members of the Southern Indiana Region of the Porsche Club of America celebrated the club’s 20th anniversary on Saturday.
Because of the weather, the event moved indoors from Dress Plaza.
Live music and plenty of cars were featured.
The club’s membership has increased 30-40% in the last five years.
Members said the club is about much more than just cars.
Former president of the club Scott Klueh said, “It’s the friendships you make, the comradery you make. We all have a common bond: we love the Porsche automobile. We have a passion for the car and that brings us together, and we’ve formed tremendous friendships and relationships over the years.”
The event ran from 4 p.m. — 11 p.m.
