Pregnant horse and colt rescued in eastern Kentucky

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) A pregnant horse and her colt were rescued from a strip mine in eastern kentucky.

The horses were found in the same location that the 20 horses were found found shout to death earlier this month.

The two horses are being cared for by the Kentucky Humane Society outside of Louisville.

officials say that the mare was very thin and showed signs stress.

A 20 thousand dollar reward is being offered for more information.
