OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – The promoter for David Allan Coe’s cancelled Daviess County concert made his first court appearance Monday, following his arrest more than a week ago.

Jason Giardina was arraigned on charges including theft by deception, misdemeanor charges, and other traffic-related charges.

He was the promoter for the September 14 show where David Allan Coe was scheduled to perform.

The charges stem from allegedly selling tickets while knowing Coe wouldn’t be performing.

Giardina’s next hearing is November 8.
