Protest held against military intervention

Local News

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- A local chapter of Veterans for Peace held a rally and protest against US military action in the Middle East on Saturday at the Four Freedoms Monument in Evansville.

The protest came just days after President Trump reportedly authorized an airstrike that killed top Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani. Veterans for Peace says the strike “blatantly violates international law and Iraqi sovereignty.”
