(WEHT) – QuoteWizard released a list of average annual health insurance premiums per person for employer-based plans in each state. Kentucky was found to have the sixth largest rate increase over a six-year period at 27%.
Illinois had the 19th highest at 22% and Indiana had the 48th highest at 11%.
Arkansas had the highest at 31%.
Wyoming had the lowest at 7%.
In 2013, Kentucky’s annual premium cost was $5,257. It rose to $6,690 in 2018.
