One of the Tri-State’s most anticipated events has frogs and people jumping for joy in Vanderburgh County.
Saturday was all about racing frogs at the 43rd annual Frog Follies event put on by the E’ville Irons Street Rod Club.
Here is how it worked – each person tickled the frog with a feather to see who could get to the other side the quickest.
Contestants were competing for a trophy and supporting the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center at the same time.
The frog race wasn’t the only thing happening Saturday; thousands of classic cars were also lined up from around the country for everyone to see.
“E’ville Irons Street Club members are a part of the Easterseals family, they’ve been helping us for so many years and they’ve really changed lives for thousands of local kids and adults with disabilities,” said Pam Kirk with Easterseals.
The Frog Follies event continues until Sunday afternoon.
