EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Indivisible Evansville, Brothers Saving Souls (BOSS), and student groups from Bosse High School and Reitz High School gathered on Friday “to stand up for students’ rights to safely walk to school.”

Those at the rally were calling for a pedestrian overpass to be built across Highway 41, which impacts Bosse High School, along with nearby elementary and middle schools.

Organizers said they call on the city to find the funds form its budget and prioritize this issue with state legislators.
