Eyewitness News has been talking to Tri-State congressional representatives Thursday after President Trump’s announcement.
We caught up with Indiana 8th District Congressman Larry Buschon as he was touring Aurora’s new location in Evansville.
Buschon, a republican, tells us he has had concerns about the Paris Accord for a long time.
He says even if other countries sign the document, it’s very unlikely they will comply with the agreement.
We also talked with Kentucky’s 2nd District Congressman Brett Guthrie in Owensboro hosting a financial services roundtable.
The republican says he backs the President’s decision because the reports he has seen contradict the Accord by saying the earth will only heat by .2 degrees Celsius over 100 years.
