(WEHT)- A study of all 50 states and the District of Columbia from SeniorLiving.Org shows that the Kentucky state economy has the 50th best economy in the US. Only Mississippi ranked lower than Kentucky.
The study took data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Bureau of Economic Analysis. According to the survey, 30 percent of people say the economy will be their primary consideration in how they vote in the upcoming 2020 elections.
Overall, the study found Massachusetts, Colorado, and California have the healthiest economies in the country while Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Mississippi have the least healthy state economies. Indiana ranked 36th while Illinois finished 7th.
