EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Two separate restaurants in Evansville used social media to find two people they say tried to take items from them. The items have now been paid for or returned.

Thai Papaya Cuisine posted to Facebook on Monday, saying that two people tried to take a lucky cat figure, but instead ended up breaking it.

Thai Papaya Cuisine said on Thursday that the two people came forward and paid for the damage.

A manager at the restaurant told Eyewitness News no charges will be pressed since the damages were paid for.

Orange Leaf in Evansville went looking for the same two people regarding a stolen stool at their yogurt shop.

Eyewitness News reached out to Orange Leaf Friday. They said the people did return the barstool and that they had no further comment.
