Rick House site at O.Z. Tyler could be cleared within the next month

Local News

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) – The cleanup of a partially collapsed Rick House at the O.Z. Tyler Distillery could be done within the next month.

Master Distiller Jacob Call says nearly 85% of the debris and barrels have been removed from the site.

He says work there could be finished in three weeks.

The part of Ewing Road near the site that closed after the collapse back in June is now back open.

Call says no decision has been made on what the distillery will do with the site once it’s cleared.
