Right to Life of Southwestern Indiana will be holding a press conference Tuesday to discuss their concerns about an alliance between the Planned Parenthood chapters in Indiana & Kentucky and the Pacific Northwest & Hawaii.
“This will bring millions of dollars into promoting the pro-abortion movement in Indiana and Kentucky,” said Right to Life of SW Indiana Executive Director Mary Ellen Van Dyke. “Their press release refers to donors that want to fund abortion clinics and lobbying in the Midwest.”
Last week, Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky said the agreement with its more financially stable affiliate in the northwest will allow it to expand reproductive and education services.
Van Dyke said, “We are prepared to fight against any efforts to expand or promote abortion clinics.”
The press conference will take place in downtown Evansville at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
