Around 4:30 a.m. Monday, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rollover crash involving injuries.

Deputies said they found a truck on its top with three victims trapped inside.

A fourth victim managed to crawl out of the vehicle.

Scott Township Firefighters were able to free the trapped occupants.

Authorities said all four of them were sent to Deaconess Hospital.

The truck was being driven by Ernest Margelot of Owensboro. Margelot had been driving northbound on US 41 when another truck driven by Darrin Vogel of Evansville allegedly failed to yield and entered Margelot’s path.

Margelot’s truck rolled over six or seven times, according to authorities, before landing on its roof.

All four occupants were wearing seat belts.
