Salvation Army says Match Day was a ‘complete success’

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – On Monday, the Evansville Salvation Army announced that its Match Day was a success on Saturday.

The proceeds were $10,709.19, along with a $10,000 gift available to use as a match.

This took Saturday’s proceeds alone to $20,709.19.

The Salvation Army said it’s still working toward a goal of $225,000 and a challenge goal of $300,000.

With Saturday’s proceeds, the Salvation Army has surpassed $202,000.

Proceeds from Monday and Tuesday still have to be added.
