A seat belt violation leads to a drug arrest in Daviess County on Thursday.

Kentucky State Police say a trooper pulled over the vehicle because the driver wasn’t wearing his seat belt.

The trooper then discovered marijuana and a large amount of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Joseph Payne, 60, of Owensboro was arrested for driving under the influence, trafficking meth, and other drug charges.
