Second suspect in Wal-Mart arson investigation arrested

Morganfield Police say Taylor James Shelton has been arrested in connection with a fire at the Morganfield Wal-Mart.

The Henderson Police Department said they were notified of a possible location of Shelton. HPD officers found Shelton in the driveway of a home on Glenshiel Drive where he was arrested.

 

Police said Shelton was considered armed and dangerous. 

Another suspect, Zachary Dennis, turned himself in on Wednesday

The fire happend around 2 a.m. Monday morning. Store officials say they lost 75% - 85% of merchandise and will be closed for two more weeks. 

Surveillance video shows two men entering the store and placing items into a shopping cart. Then, one man heads to the fabric section of the store, where the fire started, and returned with an ax. Police say the two men left with items in a small black passenger car.
