Both lanes of Highway 41 at the Gibson County and Vanderburgh County line are back open after a fatal crash early this morning.
According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, a semi going east on Interstate 64 went down the embankment and overturned near the interchange with Highway 41 around 2:00 a.m.
Shortly after the crash, authorities announced the driver was killed. The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver as Kenneth White, of Shelbyville, Kentucky. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Both north and southbound lanes of Highway 41 were closed for close to five hours Monday morning.
