Sen. Coats to Deliver Final Senate Speech This Week

Since this is the final week the United States Senate is expected to be in session, this is also the last week Senator Dan Coats (R-IN) will be speaking on the Senate floor.

Sen. Coats is expected to be involved in speeches on Monday, Tuesday, and a final speech later in the week.

Monday morning, Sen. Coats and Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) will be speaking in celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial.

Tuesday morning, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) will be speaking about Sen. Coats’ career.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sen. Coats will deliver a farewell speech.

Then, later in the week, Sen. Coats is expected to deliver his final “Waste of the Week” speech. 

Sen. Coats’ seat will be filled by Republican Senator-elect Todd Young.
