Sen. McConnell spends Memorial Day in Louisville


LOUISVILLE, Ky. (CNN) – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) was in Louisville for Memorial Day.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars 6th District hosted a remembrance ceremony at the Cave Hill Cemetery.

Sen. McConnell greeted attendees and took pictures with them.

He also paid his respect to those who paid the greatest sacrifice.

Cave Hill is the largest military cemetery by area and number of burials in Louisville.
