Several thefts from cars reported in Newburgh neighborhood

Authorities are looking into a string of thefts in a Newburgh neighborhood, and the Warrick County Sheriff's Office believes they are connected.

The sheriff's office says between Monday and Tuesday, around 15 unlocked cars had things stolen out of them around the S. Broadview Ave. neighborhood.

Deputies say a few other cars were actually broken into, but nothing very valuable was stolen.

The sheriff's office says its looking into it, but no leads at this point.
