Tuesday night is going to be a cold on in the Tri-State. And for some people, that can be dangerous and even deadly.

If you or someone you know is homeless, there are emergency options. Shelters call these nights “white flag events.” Shelters will fly a white flag outside for people needing a haven from the weather.

In Evansville, there’s the Rescue Mission on Walnut St. and the United Caring Shelter downtown. Owensboro has the Daniel Pitino Shelter and St. Benedict’s Homeless Shelter.
