Sheriff’s Office: One dead in vehicle fire

WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – One person is dead after a vehicle fire in Lynnville early Saturday morning, according to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities were called to the 6100 block of Meinert Road around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arrival, first responders found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

The sheriff’s office said human remains were later discovered in the vehicle. An autopsy is still pending and foul play is not suspected.
