The Evansville riverfront is set to be busy this week for the 13th Annual ShrinersFest.
The festival full of food, concerts, rides, airshows and water shows is now underway.
A special kids zone was featured Wednesday, and there are inflatables for kids of all ages.
“For parents that don’t have money to spend, the kids can come down, they want to do something. The parents are either going to spend it on the rides or the food. By providing the younger kids free. That frees up money for them to spend on vendors and that keeps our vendors happy,” says Dennis Maynard, ShrinersFest Kidzone Chairman.
You can still get your tickets at the festival. They’re $10 for adults; kids 12 and under are free.
Thursday night is bike night, and the band “Taste Like Chicken” will take the stage.
