Union County, Ind. (WEHT) – Six people were taken to the hospital, two of them by helicopter after a crash involving two pick-up trucks. The union county sheriff’s office says a truck pulling a boat was heading east-bound on U-S 60 this afternoon.
That’s when deputies say a second truck pulled out in front of the first one from a gas station near the intersection of u-s 60 and Kentucky I-41.
Two people from the second truck were taken by medical helicopter to St. Vincent in Evansville.
Four others from the truck pulling the boat were taken to union county Methodist hospital by ambulance.
At this time the sheriff’s office does not believe alcohol was a factor.
