Small fire fills Signature School with smoke


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — A small fire filled part of Evansville’s Signature School building with smoke on Thursday evening.

According to The Evansville Courier & Press, the fire started on the top floor of the school just after 8 p.m.

The building also houses the Victory Theatre.

The Courier & Press reports firefighters were using fans to clear smoke from the building.

There has been no official statement from Signature or the Evansville Fire Department regarding the incident.
