EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Some residents on Evansville’s east side could be experiencing low water pressure.
According to the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, there was and equipment failure at a hydrant on Lincoln Avenue, near E. Meade Drive and a large area on the east side is experiencing the low water pressure.
The area is just east of Green River Road, extending into Warrick County and south of Lynch Road.
Water crews are working to fix the issue.
Water pressure should be restored by Thursday evening.
Although the potential for contamination is unlikely, a precautionary boil advisory will be issued for customer impacted by this incident.
The boil advisory will likely be in place until Sunday, June 9th.

The equipment failure was on Lincoln near E. Meade Dr. The precautionary boil advisory area is roughly everything east of Green River Rd extending into part of Warrick Co. and south of Lynch Rd .
