SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – A local prosecutor’s office is investing in law enforcement, buying all new ballistic vests.
The Spencer County Prosecutor purchased $13,000 worth of the vests from Lawman Tactical in Evansville.
Police said the vests are designed for high-power rifle fire.
They’re also lighter, more durable, and allow extra protection for officers.
The vests will go to all the agencies in the county, from the sheriff’s office to Rockport and Santa Claus Police.
