SPOTTSVILLE, Ky. (WEHT)- The Kentucky Transportation announced Wednesday that the U.S. 60 Green River “Spottsville” Bridge will be closed March 6-9 for truss repairs.
The bridge will officially close at 6:00 PM on the 6th and won’t reopen until the following Monday, the 9th at 5:00 PM. Authorities say the repair work on the bridge is part of the process for the construction of a new bridge.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a detour will be set up and posted during the repairs. They say 3,000 vehicles cross the bridge on an average day.
