OHIO COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – A two-hour standoff ends with an arrest in Ohio County.
Kentucky State Police and U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested 32-year-old Roger Burnett, who is wanted in Indiana for various felony offenses.
On August 7th, troopers went to a home in the 100 block of James Street in McHenry, where they say Burnett was standing in a driveway.
When troopers turned onto the road, they say Burnett ran into a home and barricaded himself.
After two hours, Burnett was captured and arrested without further incident.
His charges include fleeing police on foot, criminal trespassing, possession of a handgun by a felon, absconding parole supervision, and fugitive from another state – Indiana.
Burnett was taken to the Ohio County Jail, where he’s awaiting extradition to Indiana.
