Tri-Staters are taking a trip to a galaxy far, far away as the next film in the Star Wars franchise opens up across the nation.
The first showing in the Tri-State took place at 7 p.m. Thursday.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” follows a group of rebels as it plots to steal the Imperial Death Star plans.
The movie hits theaters just one year after “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Rogue One has received positive reviews from critics.
